Stewart A. Bailey
Chief Executive Officer
Stewart began working with The Bailey Group in 1991 after successfully completing tertiary studies in Marketing Commerce at UTS Sydney.
Read AllStewart began his career in the role of Sales Representative for Powerforce then progressed into Account Management for Bailey Sales & Marketing. In 1993, Stewart crossed the boarder and managed The Bailey Group's South Australian operations, productively growing and developing the Powerforce brand in all retail accounts. To further his experience and exposure in the retail environment, Stewart relocated to Sydney where he spent 10 years expanding the business increasing our clientele and branching out into other areas of interest including telecommunications and liquor. Stewart is passionate about his work and remains informed and involved with industry progress by assuming the role of Director of the NARMS Australian Chapter (National Association of Retail Merchandising Services). Today, as CEO of The Bailey Group, Stewart is responsible for the successful and profitable performance of each integrated division and in turn the clients that the company represents. His ability to realize the company's potential through hard work and continual motivation is a valuable characteristic, which will ensure The Bailey Group remains world class leaders in their field. Stewart is also a Harvard Graduate, a member of the Australia Food and Grocery Council and Young Presidents Organisation.

Tony Marshall
Joint Divisional Managing Director
Tony joined The Bailey Group in July 2006 having previously worked in senior management roles within the FMCG, Apparel and Retail Consumer Goods sectors.
Read AllTony brings relevant experience to The Bailey Group having been responsible for the leadership and motivation of full time and part time sales marketing teams with notable organizations such as Levis Strauss, Dairy Farmers and Snack Brands Australia. In addition to team leadership Tony has an extensive knowledge and appreciation of both retailer and consumer needs having developed many varied and successful retail execution plans. These plans have been in support of brands such as Ski Yoghurt, Thins Potato Chips and Levis Jeans. A key element contributing to the success of these plans was to listen to all key stakeholders needs and to recognise the importance of strong professional business relationships and effective in store execution.
In addition to Tony's leadership of sales marketing teams has been the responsibility for other important teams in the area of Customer Service, Finance, Distribution and Franchise Development.
In the role of Divisional Managing Director Tony will align and ensure all team members within The Bailey Group clearly understand the importance of three critical questions :
- What do you want me to do?
- How am I doing?
- How can we do better?
By ensuring the above questions are clearly understood customers can be confident that not only will their needs be met on an ongoing basis but often exceeded!

Steve Wootten
Joint Divisional Managing Director
Steve joined The Bailey Group in September 2007 after a successful career with Coles Supermarkets spanning 21 years.
Read AllSteve has an extensive FMCG retail background in Category Management, Marketing and Project Leadership with particular expertise in the development and execution of business strategies.
He has a proven track record in bringing ideas from “whiteboard to reality” and has brought this passion with him to The Bailey Group.
Steve has won or been a finalist in The Australian Marketing Awards (Innovation), Coles Group Excellence Award 2006 (Innovation), Coles Myer Young Retailer of the Year, Australian Supermarket Scholarship, and was nominated as the Victorian Young Retailer of the Year four times.
He has successfully completed a post-Graduate Diploma of Corporate Management at Deakin University.
Steve is results orientated and customer focused, and works closely with Tony and the team to ensure that we deliver on what we say we will.

Adrian Buttigieg
IT Manager
Adrian is one of The Bailey Group's long-standing team members, joining the company in early 1997. Adrian's previous experience was gained through his employment with BHP and Shell Australia where he was responsible for development and integration of the SOE (Standard Operating Environment) across multiple platforms from server to desktop. Adrian has a proven record in the successful application and management of The Bailey Group's IT systems including the development and implementation of 860 PDA's, TRACS (in-house developed backend Scheduling, Territory Management application). Generating the following efficiencies
- Cost effective reporting - cost of keying reports, messaging, mobile call costs, chasing outstanding compliances - both labor and phone costs
- Eliminate printing and postage costs associated with manual process
- Payroll - processing and compiling cost savings
- Instant messaging - reduce telecommunications costs
- Ability to schedule work and budget - time in store, time by client, activity achieved by merch - minimising cost blowouts
- Providing our current clients with timely comprehensive reporting.
- Enhance client compliance with sales & marketing objectives through improved execution
- Ensure compliance with promotions and planograms
- Enhance product distribution and reduce out of stocks
- Provide better decision-making capabilities - Ability to measure merchandiser efficiencies by time by states, by store
- Competitive advantage - latest tech., instant compliance reporting and the only company in Australia to have 860 PDA's with real time transfers from store using GPRS.
Adrian manages an experienced IT team of analysts, programmers, pc support and help desk with whom provide the business with invaluable and important IT services. Adrian has been responsible for customising our IT functions to suit the needs of our business whilst incorporating the requirements of our clients and supporting the systems of our retailers. His patience, perseverance and loyalty has bought The Bailey Group's IT function to new heights. In an ever changing, technological environment, Adrian is at the forefront of current and future IT systems and his continuous development to implement highly functional and useful processes to The Bailey Group is second to none.
